Charlie Clemoes is a writer, editor and podcaster from the South West of England who currently lives in Amsterdam. He teaches architectural theory, primarily at Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Academie van Bouwkunst and Fontys Tilburg. His work tends to develop more within collectives and collaborations: specifically in the Amsterdam and New York-based spatial critique platform Failed Architecture, where he is the organizer, editor, host of the Failed Architecture podcast and author of the soon-to-be-published series of articles "Building Workers Unite".

NAA! (Netherlands' Angry Architects / Network Anonymous Architects / Nederlandse Anonieme Architecten etc.) is an initiative founded in the Netherlands in 2022. The acronym represents a vocal dissent to the current work culture in architecture - it's "Naa!" to the many unacceptable questions we are asked at work (e.g. "Can you stay longer today?" - "Naa!"). They organize in-person meetings and online discussions with architecture workers who feel lost and powerless and want to connect [unite], share workplace experiences and knowledge about workers' rights, raise awareness about abuses of power in specific offices, call attention to the many oppressions currently occurring in the industry, and help raise awareness of the class position of architecture workers.
